WHO WE ARE

WHEEL ROCKET PRODUCTIONS are a group of creative individuals, with many years of experience in their field of the arts.

Within the team there are several top musicians/vocalists, song writers, script writers, stage performers, a musical director, a theatre director and a choreographer. These individuals have worked in both the professional and amateur theatrical arenas. Among their number are two ex-headteachers, several Performing Arts teachers and an expert in NHS digital data.

So, as well as their expertise in theatre, the team have many transferable skills which contribute to the quality and professionalism of their theatrical output. The team worked together on several theatrical projects before joining forces as an independent collaborative.

WHEEL ROCKET PRODUCTIONS was formed when the team embarked on their first independent project RESOLUTION ROCKS – conceived in 2024, written and developed in 2025 and ready to be premiered late 2026. This original Musical stage show incorporates all the skills, talent and experience the team has to offer. The show culminates in seventeen original solo and ensemble songs and a unique libretto with a portmanteau style narrative.

Real characters, Real issues, Realistic solutions and Quality Musical Theatre!
Our art should ‘not only’ reflect the lives of the community … it should ‘also’ aim to improve the lives of the people in our community.
We do this by raising awareness through the cathartic process of collective understanding, and by showing that no matter how deep the hole – there is always a way back up. ‘Everybody is dealing with something!’

Our endeavour is to create Musical Theatre which reflects the lives and issues of a varied cross-section of realistic characters. We aim to portray these individuals complete with their life challenges, and by the end of the piece, provide a solution, outcome or resolution. Our songs are original, varied in style and serve the narrative by exposing the inner thoughts and emotions of our characters.
Our work reflects our own optimistic outlook on life.
