Details of Workshop

Day 1 (Saturday 16th August 2025) 9am – 3pm

We will start with a brief overview of the musical storyline and characterisations. This will be followed by a read-through of the show with some ‘blocking’ of the action. Lunch will be followed by more blocking on the Saturday afternoon.

All songs will be played from demo recordings although these will be shared prior to the workshop to allow actors to become familiar with them.

We will be prioritising dialogue at this workshop, with a workshop later in the year to trial the music, so we are only asking for an awareness of the songs at this stage.

• 12.30 – 3pm Continuation of the Read-through/Blocking
• 3pm – Capturing feedback from Day 1

Day 2 (Sunday 17th August 2025) 9am – 4pm

• 9.00 – 12.00 Read-through/Blocking continued
• 12.00 – 12.30 Break/Refreshments (joined by Volunteer audience members)
• 12.30 – 3pm Full performance of the show with SCRIPTS
• 3pm – Capturing feedback from ALL volunteers

We are keen to capture thoughts and comments from everyone present to ensure our production is launch-ready for Spring 2027.

Volunteers may or may not wish to be considered for parts when the musical is launched in 2027 following competitive auditions. Details of this process will be outlined at the Workshops.
